I bought this Caravan new in 2003. It has served my family with loyalty, but now it's time to let it go. Despite the high mileage, the engine and transmission run very well. However, the reason I am selling it is because it needs a fair amount of work and I don't have the time or place to do it myself. Here are the main things that need work mechanically: Air Conditioner does not work due to the evaporator core needing replacement. Rack and pinion needs replaced (will not pass Missouri inspection) Left front tie rod end needs replaced (will not pass Missouri inspection) There is a very slow oil leak from what appears to be the oil pan. Other than those main items, this vehicle has most of the scrapes and dings one might expect of a vehicle with 178,000+ miles on it. I have tried to capture those items in the pictures. This vehicle has never been in a wreck, although it did get scraped a couple of times along the side, once with a guard post and another with a shopping cart coral, mainly causing cosmetic damage. I also backed into a guard post once, putting a gauge in the back bumper. Again all of these are documented in the pictures. There is a tear on the back of the middle bench seat, and there is a light out behind the temperature gauge. I'm trying to be as detailed as possible because I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with my description. I put new tires on this past November, so there is plenty of tread. There is NO RESERVE on this auction. The highest bidder will win this auction.
