Vehicle Detail
This is a 1954 Ford F-100 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck. Before you send an email, I know that it has a 1955 Grill. The truck was this way when I got it. I was told that it came this way, from the factory. I don't know, but it was probably just replaced at some time. I have a Clear title for the Truck and it matches the Serial Numbers, on the Truck and dates the Truck as a 1954. The Body of the Truck is good, but not perfect. There are some small Dents and Dings, Minor Rust and probably some Bondo in the Body. The Cab is pretty Solid. The Cab Corners are good. The Filler Neck in out, in the picture of the Driver's Side Cab Corner, but has been replaced and is back in the Truck. There is a Rust Hole at the edge of the Driver's Floor Board. There is also a dent on the Passenger Side Window Pillar. The Top looks solid and does not appear to have been patched or Repaired. The Glass is all present. The side windows roll up and down. The Windshield is good. The Rear Window has 2 Chips in it. The Seat is covered with a Blanket. The Floor has some rust in it. The Doors are pretty solid. The Doors open and Close well. There is some rust in the Door Bottoms. The Hood opens and closes well. The Hood has some dings in it. The Hood Side Emblems were removed and the holes were filled, before I got the truck. The Front Fenders look good, but have some dings and some rust in the them. The Grill looks good. The Front Bumper is bent on the Passenger side. The Running Boards have rust holes in them. The Bed Sides look good. There is some rust at the front of the Bed Sides. The Rear Fenders look good, but they have some rust and dings. The driver's Side Rear Fender has a small Split in it. The Tail Gate has rust in it and is missing a chain on one side. The Rear Bumper looks good. The Wheels are Steel with small Hub Caps and there is a Spare mounted on the Driver's Side Rear Fender. I think this really looks cool, on the Truck. The Tires are good rollers and can be used for driving, but aren't new. The Brakes are up and working. The Engine is a six cylinder and appears to be original. The Engine Compartment is not attractive, but the Engine starts easily and runs well. The Engine and Compartment could be detailed to improve the appearance of the Truck. The Transmission is a three speed on the column and also appears to be original. It shifts well and does not appear to have any issues. This Truck is a good every day driver. It looks good from a few feet and is fun to cruise around in. It can be driven, but should probably be trailered any long distance. This is not a show truck. The paint has been touched up with flat black or Hot Rod Black. This paint probably all came from a rattle can. There are small dents and dings around the truck, from over 50 years of use. It is a fun truck to drive around in. I tried to post good pictures showing the true condition of the truck. I will try to answer any questions through email. I may be able to assist with delivery, for a fee, within a few hundred miles of Akron, Ohio. This truck sells without reserve to the highest bidder.
