Vehicle Detail
1936 PLYMOUTH COUPE -- 'Barn Find' -- We found a cherry little Plymouth Coupe that has been in the same family since 1955. She runs down the road well (although she probably does need the steering box rebuilt and we have the repair kit that goes with the car) and she stops but the brake system would need to be rebuilt for everyday use. The black coupe does not smoke, has forty pounds of oil pressure at an idle, gauges work but of course the wiring is old and we will supply a new wiring harness. The motor is a six cylinder with three speed manual tranny, carb. has been kitted. Glasses are good, wiper works, vacuum/defroster fan spins like a top, emergency brake works and interior is old but very usable. The car is virtually rust free although I found one spot of rust in the trunk floor about the size of a quarter and one spot on the left driver's door rocker panel (just some bubbles, no rust through the metal). Artillery wheels, five whitewall tires in good shape, one headlamp lens is broken but still usable, headliner is there but has minimal hang on one side, drivers door panel is missing, left door glass needs to be installed but new one with channel goes with the car. There are new inside door handles and window cranks and new windshield wiper arm/blade. This car has a crank out windshield and cowl vent both in very good working order. New tie-rod ends have been installed sometime (?) as well as an inline fuel filter. Spare tire is located behind passenger seat. The running boards would need to be recovered as they are brittle. Dent in right front fender and pucker in drivers side door at the very bottom. Paint is actually quite good considering the car's age. Payment in cash in seven days or you can overnight a certified check within forty-eight hours. You are welcome to leave the little Coupe here for two to three weeks, just call for a chat if need be, just so she is paid in full. All sales are final. Your bid is a contract to purchase. Thank you very much for viewing our item.
