Here is one of the lowest mileage 1967 Mercury Cougars in the world today with only 43K on the odometer, was owned by the same family since New and have all documents to prove this. First year for the Mercury Cougar wich was also Motor trends car for this year, the Original Interior is like new with hardly any wear, has recently been repainted due to the Florida sun in the Original color Turquoise Blue with Matching Turquoise Interior with No tears/rips, looks as good as when installed. In 1967 Just about all Cougars were equipped wth the 289, 200 HP Engines which is also mostly all Original and runs very strong with No mechanical issues, starts right up and idles like new. All suspension feels nice and tight and handles really nice. All of the Original panels line up nice and straight and there was no bodywork required when repainted last year, according to the owner only the hood had some surface rust from Original paint wearing off. The only other rust I found was a tiny spot by the rear window and some around the drivers wheelwell lip toward the bottm, easy fix, the rear quarters look perfect as do the front fenders and doors close like new, the Original floor pans still have the Original undercoating (pictures), frame rails are perfect and have no rust issues, Also has Power steering and a functional swing-Away steering wheel which is a really cool option, Brand new dash Pad Just installed. Also I have a pair of rear quarter "Cougar"emblems and will be installed before auction ends. overall a very nice first year collector Cougar especially with the lower mileage, I have seen very few with lower mileage since the mid-80's.
