Vehicle Detail
I'm going to list this one more time and if we don't reach reserve I'll just keep it. We found this bike in a garage in Minnesota while visiting relatives. It had ape hangers and a 70s Playboy sticker that was placed on the tank. But the bike was clean and started and ran perfectly. We put it on our waiting list of bikes to restore and one day decided to try something new after visiting a vintage bike show in Luchenbach, TX. Instead of restoring it back to original like we usually do, we decided to build a cafe racer out of it with the objective of keeping the "Vintage Japanese Classic look." We installed a larger headlight from a CB400F. We raised the height by installing CBX shocks. All wiring was redone and the bike was professionally repainted. We put new tires on it, relocated the battery and wiring. Removed the stock air filters & put on custom pods, installed cafe racer handlebars and added a padded seat for comfort.....and put in many long hours of cleaning and polishing. The best thing about this racer is how it runs....we took it to a professional mechanic and paid him to get it perfectly tuned and timed........ we think the end result is pretty amazing and hope you agree. You can see more photos, including closeups of the bike as well as a video narrated by my son, showing the bike starting and running at this web site.... http://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss49/jwalte01/Jerods%2069%20CB350%20Cafe%20Racer/ Thought I would share a testimonial with the lookers and bidders of this auction...just in case you weren't too sure about our bikes: I just bought a 1970 Bridgestone 350 GTR that was restored by John and his son, Jerod at JW's Dream Machines. The quality of work done on this motorcycle is unsurpassed by any other restoration work I have ever seen. It not only looks new, but rides just like new. I'm certain that I will be riding it with no problems for years to come. This is the same GTR that was on EBAY that didn't meet reserve. To those of you who didn't bid quite high enough; you really missed out on a wonderful bike. My sincere thanks to JW's Dream Machines for the opportunity to own such a classic work of art. James Benoit, Louisiana. I am a retired business man that has a passion for old Motorcycles . My son's and I are always looking for nice clean bikes that we can clean up, restore or maybe even ride and keep for awhile. But mostly we just enjoy the thrill of finding them and them passing them on to a collector or enthusiast , like ourselves, that will love and appreciate the bike as much as we do.visit us on our website:jwsdreammachines dot com We specialize in nice Vintage Collectable JapaneseMotorcycles from the 60’s 70's and 80'sThis is one of them from our personal collection….. This is an Minnesota bike and unfortunatley I lost the title. The previous owner sold it to us with a signed and undated title from the original owner, the problem is we can not locate the original owner so the bike will sold with a bill of sale and a statement from me that I lost the title.Depending on the laws of your particular State, you can obtain a title through many different sources. For example, there are several title services like www.broadwaytitle.com that can get you a title for a fee. Please, please, please be sure that you have the money to purchase the bike if you are bidding. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Keep in mind that although many people look at this bike and think it is brand new, underneath it is still a 42 year old bike. Please remember that things always seem to look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person, and if you are not sure, please don’t bid. As I am expressing how I see the vehicle. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you have the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All of this being said please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. Or come by and check it out in person before you bid. The bike will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally
