Vehicle Detail

Thank you for bidding on my 2001 Dodge Ram 4x4. This is quite possibly the cleanest, lowest mile 2nd Generation Ram left on the planet. I bought this truck last summer from the original owner. He was an older gentleman who used this as his second (recreational) truck. He never drove it in the winter and kept it garaged when not in use. It had 17,000 miles on it in the summer of 2010. The pictures were taken in August of 2010. Since then the truck has been stored in a heated garage and started/warmed-up on a regular basis. It has never seen salt. This truck has the following unique and desirable features: -Roughly 25k miles-Never driven in the winter, ZERO rust -5.9 (360) Magnum -3.92 Posi -Dana front axle -Factory Tach -Factory Trailer Package + Skid Plates -8' Bed All parts are 100% OEM and in like-new condition with the exception of a new Mopar bedliner, added OEM fog lights, a Truxedo tonneau cover, Rhino-Lined bed rails and upgraded tires. When I purchased the truck, all of the paper tags and stickers were like new underneath. I had the whole thing Ziebarted because I thought I would drive it in PA winters. As it turns out, I ended up putting the truck in heated storage; which is where it currently sits. The underneath of this truck is as clean as the body- absolutely mint! The wheels, sheet metal, paint, suspension, interior... everything... is as close to perfect as possible. There is a small tear in the back corner of the center-console lid and a small (dime sized) ding on the lower portion of the bed. This occurred while the truck was parked at the Mopar Nationals car show last summer. Other than those extremely minor flaws, you are buying a time-capsule truck. Everything works flawlessly. The motor runs and performs like the day it rolled off of the assembly line. The transmission shifts perfectly (and firmly)! The truck is as tight, as rattle-free and as comfortable as a brand-new vehicle. It is truly amazing. In my opinion, these trucks look and ride better than anything on the market today. It turns a lot of heads and is a blast to drive. Please let me know if you have any questions, I will be happy to provide a timely response. Good luck bidding! On Mar-13-11 at 15:47:48 PDT, seller added the following information:Today, Sunday March 14th, I added a few more pictures to demonstrate how clean the truck is. I took pictures underneath of the truck, the hem flanges, rocker panels, lower front fenders, engine compartment and rear axle. As you can see, aside from dust, this truck is extremely clean. I tried to get a picture of the small ding described above, but it is so small that I could not get it to show up on film; it was worse in my imagination. This truck has zero rust and the sheet metal looks like the day it left the assembly line. The frame rails, suspension, etc. are beautiful. I turned the key forward and the mileage is actually 26,500. It is ready to go with zero issues and could be driven anywhere without a second thought. Fresh synthetic oil and a new inspection!
