Beautiful, very original 1948 Lincoln Continental Coupe. Recognized by the Classic Car Club of America as a Full Classic. Repainted in the original Grotto Blue years ago, it still shines fantastically, very presentable. The interior is mostly original blue leather and cloth (the front seat cloth has been replaced, matches very nicely), door panels and headliner are near perfect originals and replacement blue wool carpet. Mechanically, the Continental V-12 runs fantastic, cruises at highway speed with no problem. The original 3 speed overdrive transmission works perfectly. While in my possession the Continental has always been serviced correctly and anything that needed replacing or repair was corrected. I cannot confirm that the mileage is actually 80,494 original miles, as presented by last owner, but by the condition of the vehicle it is very believable. This Continental runs and drives very smooth and tight, as you would expect from a relatively low mileage, well cared for original. Look at the pictures…this is a very nice Classic that has correct panel fitment as from the factory. There is no sign of rust or accident damage or repair anywhere on the vehicle.
