The Custom 300 model produce by Ford only from 1957 to 1960. This is an all original survivor driver in great overall shape. This a rare iconic sedan of the late 50's that has been a part of a private collection for many years and has been very well maintained as a driver and all original. Exterior is in excellent unrestored shape. Body showing to be razor straight with no previous repairs. The paint is an older professional repaint that still has great color shine and hardly shows any blemishes or imperfections. Well kept chrome and trim with still older shine and very few imperfection as you can tell from close up pictures. Truly a well kept 50's classic. Interior is also very original and very functional. Upholstery appear original and very well kept with no mayor imperfection to point out. The dash is also very original in great overall shape were gauges appear to work properly. Original radio does power up and a modern am/fm stereo was added to the bottom of the dash without modifying the original interior. Carpet and headliner are also unrestored but in good solid shape. Mechanical the car is a true wonder and testament to great american 50's automotive technology as the car start right up without any hesitation and drives down the road with great power and smooth comfort. The engine appears to be its original Y-block V8 with its matching Cruise-O-Matic transmission. The car is a joy to drive and its is ready to be driven anywhere anytime you could fly here and drive it home. Truly a beautiful 50's american sedan. Great example of a late 50's Custom line. 58 was a great year with great aesthetic improvement such as stimulated hood scoop and dual headlight front clip.
