Vehicle Detail
There is so much to say about this car... I purchased the car out of Georgia from the executor of an estate whom was also the deceased original owner's best friend. The owner died at age 72. From the friend's best recollection, and what we've pieced together in paperwork, the following information details the car's life to the best of our ability. Little documentation exists other than the original title and window sticker (without addendum) though thousands of dollars were spent on it in addition to the sticker price. The friend said he knew why they were unable to locate any other documentation; "He never wanted his wife to know what he spent on the car". The car was originally delivered to Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC. There they added the F1 package which consisted of Corvette ZR-1 type wheels, ground effects, SS type hood and rallye stripes. Then the car was sent to GMMG (Google it) where it received a huge assortment of suspension and drive train performance enhancements; most of which are GM Performance Parts and GMMG's own, highly coveted chambered exhaust. The car has fully adjustable upper and lower control arms from GM Performance, Coil-over shocks in the front and some type of billet constructed shocks in the rear, welded frame stiffeners from GM Performance, heavy-duty sway bars and traction bars from GM Performance, drilled and slotted rotors on the front with ceramic pads, and slotted rotors on the rear with ceramic pads. We believe the interior components of the engine to be stock, but a high-voltage coil and regulator and fuel management system were added under the hood along with lots of billet and carbon fiber. The owner even replaced all of the body bolts under the hood with polished stainless ones. The ineterior is FULL of carbon fiber. The steering wheel, dash, glove box, consol, doors and door sills are all adorned with it. And none of these pieces are made any more. Aluminium racing pedals were also added to the interior along with GM Performance mats. The exterior photo shots speak for themselves. The paint is virtually factory fresh, and it looks as though no one has ever sat in the seats or put their feet on the mats. The engine bay has been signed by Scott Settlemier; the GM executive accredited with saving the Camaro brand when GM wanted to discontinue it. The only flaw I have found on the car is that a portion of the air bag light, and a portion of the seat belt light (they're beside each other on the dash) remain illuminated after the car is started. The car has never been involved in a collision as it still sports its' 100% original paint.
