Up for your consideration is this 1969 Dodge A108 cargo van. It came from the factory equipped with the venerable 225 slant six and one barrel carb. The engine runs very well, smokes a little bit but she runs like a champ! The carb was just recently rebuilt and works great. I also replaced the spark plugs, wires and distributor cap and rotor. The transmission was totally rebuilt one month ago and works excellent! It has an 8.75 rear axle with 3.23 gears, perfect for cruising the highway. The van is equipped with four wheel drums and it stops great, the front brakes have been replaced and the rears were cleaned and adjusted. The pedal is solid. It also has a class three hitch installed as well. The left front tire is brand new and all others hold air but I would recommend replacing them before any road trips. The suspension is good as well as the steering, manual steering by the way. The body is very solid. It has a few small dents but nothing major at all. There are a couple areas of rust on the body but overall its solid! The seats are not the originals but they are very comfortable and in good shape. The dash is in great shape. The heater core was disconnected before I took posession of the van so I am thinking the heater core is probably shot. The radiator has some small pinholes in the top by the radiator cap area but it works fine and the van doesn't overheat. All in all this is one very nice van and would make a great cruiser!
