Vehicle Detail

I purchased this car about a month ago with intentions on doing a complete restoration, but have a 64 Lemans already started...so wife said one has to go, too much money for the toys. This car currently runs and is driveable, would not reccommend driving any distance until fully checked. When I purchased it, I was told it had been parked up for about a year. If the exhaust was replaced, could possibly be a daily driver now. The exhaust is on the car, but is bent and has leaks. This is an excellent project car, has some minor rust spots around the back glass and a few other minor areas on the exterior. The clear coating on the car is peeling off, so that's why it as the frosted look. The car is dented above the driver's door where something hit or fell on the car. I scatched off the top paint layer in the trunk and there is very little surface rust, no pitting. The carpet is is in good condition, and as far as I can tell, the floor pans are all in good shape as well. The body is in really good shape for its age. The interior is all in tact except for the radio. The driver's seat and door panel needs to be redone, passenger seat is in great shape, as well as the back seat. It is an air conditioned car, but lines have been disconnected and are in the trunk, compressor is not on the car. For any questions, please call 337-208-6607, not at a computer during the week, only weekends. I reserve the right to end auction early if sold locally. On Mar-11-11 at 04:13:04 PST, seller added the following information: I've received several questions if the undercarriage had rust issues, so added some pictures of fender wells and under side. Can't tell a whole lot from the pictures, but everything appears to just be surface rust. The title showed this car originally came from California and DMV shows it was tansferred to Arkansas in 2001.
