This 1955 chevy Bel Air was last sold back in 1975, when my friend steve bought it in Richmond california where he grew up, when he was 19 years old. This car was his pride and joy. unfortunately steve passed away in 2007 and his wife who is having a hard time letting it go, has decided the car needs to go to a new home. she hopes the new owner will care for the car like steve did. This car has always been garaged. never driven in foul weather. and it shows. there is no rot in this car at all. the paint (612 India Ivory / Regal Turquoise) was done right after he got the car and still looks good today. as you can see from the data plate this is a real bel air with the correct color sceme. The ralley wheels really set the car off and give it a classy muscle look. The engine is a chevy small block (T 0512 DA) fender dump headers. (a nice pair of uncut inner fender panels are included) torker intake, backed by an aluminum 4 speed trans. hurst shifter. also has a lakewood racing bell housing. (when I put the car on the trailer the clutch slipped a bit) The engine runs great. 12 volt. The interior is where this car needs the most work. the original seats have been recovered in black vinyl. no door panels. the headliner that is in the car. needs to be replaced. chrome bows are there. no carpet. drivers window has a crack. (floors are very nice) there is another radio dash trim that is uncut. along with a few boxes of extra trim and door panels that are good for patterns only. (included) . the car has been sitting since 2007 I did notice the master cyl. is leaking at the fire wall slightly. brakes work fine now. but it will need to be replaced.
