I have a 1975 R75/6 I would like to sell. This bike needs a good Beemer loving home. I planned to totally restore it and have never found the time to get the project started. Prefer someone to pick it up or I can deliver within reason. I have a MC trailer. (Im in central Texas) I have the BMW saddle bags that fit on bike. (no keys for bags) The locks may have to be replaced. I have a clear TX. title for in hand. Its been lost in my garage for 15 months.I never rode it as I new the previous owner rode it to work everyday but still I wanted to check everything out to satisfy me that it was safe before I rode it. I never got the time to mess with it. I have another bike so it wasn't a top priority. Things I would do *****replace gas lines,air filter,clean carbs,flush brake line,clean brake caliber,new battery,adjust everyhing that is adjustablee.And of course make it as pretty as possible with some elbow greese.I actually started it today and it fired right up and idled pretty smooth.I was really surprised. So much for the old gas goes dead after awhile ,I guess thats a myth.. Note: When the engine was rebuilt,it was bored one size over. Does that make it more than a 750 ? ,I don't know. So many people have e-mailed me so I hope this answers some of your questions.
