This is a 1946 Jeep CJ2 that has a 231 cu. in. V6 engine and 3 speed manual transmission, POWER STEERING, and oversize brakes. This jeep was in storage for about 20 years and when we took it out of storage last summer, tried to start it and found out that several valves had stuck shut and bent some of the push rods. We removed the heads to have the valves reworked and have since ran out of both time and money to make the repairs. All the parts are there to put the engine back together after making the repairs needed, however the jeep is missing a few items: Radiator, windshield was broke and was removed although the frame is complete with the gasket, and the bucket seats were rotted so were removed. The jeep has the original steel tub body which has some rust in areas as shown in pics, as well as some of the previously applied body putty has come loose. The jeep had 12 x 15 tires on it years ago that had been removed for other purposes. We ran this jeep for a couple of years and was a blast to drive and the power steering made driving it a breeze. The reason I put it in storage was the radiator was unrepairable and I just didn't take the time to find another. One of those deals where you put something away for a while and it turns into 20 years! Oh well. Jeep is located near Janesville, Wisconsin 53548. I can assist in loading the vehicle onto a truck or trailer or will deliver it within 250 miles for $1.50 per mile. A deposit of $100.00 via paypal required within 24 hours of closing with the balance due at time of pickup or within 5 days of closing, whichever is first.
