This beautiful 1974.5 rubber bumper MGB was converted to all new Chrome Bumpers, Over-Riders and Grille. The exterior was designed to look like the very rare EUROPEAN 1980 Limited Edition MGB that was never imported to the US, with its unique Bronze Metallic paint job and Gold Limited Edition Body Decals(American versions are Black with a Silver stripe). The Paint is absolutely beautiful with a base coat, clear coat for rich color, great depth and clarity. The windshield glass is new, the seals are all new and the windshield frame has been chromed which really looks amazing and ties the side vent windows together nicely. A custom two tone black and Autumn Leaf leather wrapped steering wheel matches the interior color which is also Autumn Leaf, along with matching carpet and is a perfect match for the Bronze Metallic paint. A new Sony AM/FM/CD stereo system accepts Ipod and MP3 systems. Not only does it have a new dashboard but the vinyl that is between the windshield and dashboard has also been installed new along with refinished heater vents. All new rubber window scrapers installed. The MGB engine compartment is extremely detailed, including the engine itself, with a new oil pan gasket, side tappet inspection cover gaskets, and valve cover gaskets. New heater valve, new water pump, new hoses, polished radiator top tank, new master brake cylinder (Note: The major benefit of a late model body style is the new style brake booster system which greatly improves stopping power), new clutch master and slave cylinders, heater box restored (blows strong and hot when needed), All electrics are working as they should. New side body chrome strips. New headlight rims and headlamps (nice and bright Halogens). The new complete "sport" stainless steel header and exhaust system not only looks great but is very functional and should be the last exhaust system you'll ever need on this MGB.  The new carb is a very reliable 32/36 DGV downdraft Weber. The majority of quality new parts are from Moss. Custom Work: There is a lot of small details that will not be found on the average MGB which sets it apart from most. All of the custom work is done by myself. The new floor mat carpets are custom made with actual contrasting "MG logos" cut in contrasting color carpet and inserted into the mats and are one of a kind. Along with the Brand New Dash there is custom Carpinthean Burl Elm wood inlays on the center console faces. This beautiful 1974.5 MGB is absolutely stunning in every way. SPECIAL NOTE: When you are looking an MGB, first look under the bonnet to see if the engine bay has been restored or at least clean and original. Many times the body is painted, but the engine compartment is left untouched and shabby. If the engine has not been removed, gone over, detailed, cleaned, painted, new decals installed and engine bay not painted, it is a sign that the job is not complete.  This of course is a labor intensive process and usually is overlooked. Other things to look for are unfinished dashboards that are cracked, scratched windshields and frames, shabby floor mats, scratched wheels all add up to make or break the look of an MGB. These are the details you should look for when deciding on your MGB purchase.   ALWAYS LOOK UNDER THE BONNET as well as door jams and trunk, it is a sure sign that the MGB has been done right.
