Hi Everyone and WELCOME to my auction ! NOTE: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS BELOW BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID: *Serious bidders only, please. Bidders with less than 90% positive feedback and/or fewer than 5 total feedback must contact me before placing a bid. If I do not receive an email from these bidders, I reserve the right to cancel their bids. Also, there is a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $250 due within 48 hours of the auction's conclusion. Further, full payment is required within 7 days from the end of the auction. (PLEASE NOTE: Non-paying bidders will be reported to Ebay and if the payment terms are not met, I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or offer it to other interested parties.) Also, I AM open to offers, so to encourage serious parties, I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please keep in mind that I will not negotiate the price after the auction ends. The car is being sold AS-IS with no guarantee expressed or implied. That being said, let's get to the FUN part ! For your consideration, I offer a 2 OWNER strong running, smooth shifting 2000 Buick Lesabre Custom sedan with low (102K) miles and a clean title. To encourage a quick sale, I've started the bidding at only $999 with a Buy It Now price of nearly $1000 Less than the private party Kelley Blue Book* value. (*see KBB value at bottom of ad). The car originally sold for nearly $25,000 and dealers commonly still ask $5000 and better. That being said, I'm setting the price reasonably to encourage a quick sale. Remember, I AM OPEN to offers, so feel free to present one. The car is equipped with the famous 3.8 GM motor, often referred to as "bullet proof". I've owner 4 Buicks previously with this engine and found the moniker to be well deserved. I've also successfully sold a few cars on Ebay before and understand the need for full disclosure, so please read ahead for a detailed description: MECHANICAL CONDITION: As this car was intended as a first car for my young niece, I brought it to my mechanic for a full check up.He suggested changing the front left wheel hub bearing-which I did yesterday at the cost of $479.55. (I have the receipt.) Here's what else he reported: The car's 3.8 V6 engine runs smoothly with NO misses, taps or leaks noticed. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly with NO hesitation noted. The AC is nice and cold and the heat is toasty warm. Shortcomings are few, but in the interest of full disclosure, there are a few items he noticed that I'd like to point out.First, the tires are somewhat worn-with approximately 50% tread remaining. Also, the plastic face of the CD changer is cracked (although the CD functions just fine). Next, the front right lower control arm ($79 part) should probably be changed in the next 6 months or so as it makes a slight noise when going over large potholes. Lastly, (in what I'm told is a super common problem with these cars) the fuel gauge's reading will occasionally fluctuate when underway. (The replacement part can be found at WWW.GMPARTSDIRECT.COM ...PART#88963639 GM FUEL TANK METER/SENDER $ 141.97) Most importantly, she floats down the road like a dream and I wouldn't hesitate to drive her anywhere! COSMETIC CONDITION: Overall, the car's exterior shows minor wear and scuffs typical for a 2000 automobile. but presents beautifully. I just had the car professionally WAXED TODAY and the factory Titanium blue metallic paint shines real nice! The front bumper has a minor indentation on the driver's side which is purely cosmetic (see pic). The cloth interior is in nice shape with no major imperfections. *Just a quick note, as aforementioned, I recently bought this car for my young niece as a first car. Luckily, before registering it, I took her on a quick test drive on a road behind my business. Now, I understand why she's failed the road test twice..lol.. Nevertheless, her mother and I decided to pick up a smaller, easier to drive, vehicle. So, if I'm ALSO OPEN TO TRADES FOR A GOOD RUNNING 4 CYLINDER CAR. Anyway, I have 3 cars and no need for this one, so I'm hoping to recoup at least part of my investment. That's about it. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE or set up an inspection.Mechanics are most welcome and test drives are encouraged. Thanks for your interest and God bless ! See below for Kelley Blue Values: BLUE BOOK® PRIVATE PARTY VALUE Close Private Party Value Kelley Blue Book Private Party Value is the amount a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. The Private Party Value assumes the vehicle is sold "As Is" and carries no warranty (other than any remaining factory warranty). The final sale price may vary depending on the vehicle's actual condition and local market conditions. This value may also be used to derive Fair Market Value for insurance and vehicle donation purposes. More Photos Condition Value Excellent $3,890 Good $3,515 Fair $2,940 Private Party Value This value assumes the vehicle has received the cosmetic and/or mechanical reconditioning needed to qualify it as "Excellent". This is not a transaction value; it is representative of a dealer's asking price and the starting point for negotiation. Poor Severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition.May have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body.Branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage. Kelley Blue Book does not attempt to report a value on a "poor" vehicle because the value of these vehicles varies greatly. A vehicle in poor condition may require an independent appraisal to determine its value. Vehicle Condition Ratings Excellent "Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. This vehicle has never had any paint or body work and is free of rust. The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category. Good (Selected) "Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects.
