Offered for sale is this 1947 Studebaker Champion 2 door sedan powered by its factory flat head six cylinder engine mated to its manual 3 speed transmission with the column mounted shifter. This is an original unrestored and unmolested car that looks, starts, shifts, drives and rides the way it is supposed to. It was purchased new in Superior, Wisconsin, from the Kari Garage, and it spent most of its life in Minnesota until I purchased it six years ago. It has been repainted at some point in time in its original light beige, and the interior is all original and serviceable. All the guages function perfectly except the speedo which stopped working recently. All it needs is a new cable. The car is equipped with factory fog lights and dual spot lights, both of which are marked as Studebaker equipment and work perfectly. It has received brakework, a tune up, radial tires and a new battery. The radio is not working. Rust issues are minor. It receives a great deal of attention wherever she is driven, and it represents a marvelous era in automotive design and construction.
