Vehicle Description This rare 1966 Karmann Ghia Coupe is a nice vintage automobile in mostly original state. I'm the second owner of this vehicle, and the previous owner kept the vehicle in impeccable shape. I have all the maintenance receipts dating back to the 60's. The off white Seat upholstery is brandnew and was installed last week.The original door panels have few repairs and are in good shape. The rear seat is in great shape and folds up for proper storage and to increase the seating area. The dash face is in good condition and has all the original molding and ash trey, the original Blaupunkt radio has not been tested. The headliner is original and has small repairs which you can see in the picture below, but overall is in good condition. Comes with original shifter and shift knob. The two tone teal/white paintjob is about 8 years old, it has some minor blemishes the most notable of which have been pictured, but it's nothing you would see from a few steps away. This Karmann Ghia has it's original 1300cc engine, which purrs like a kitten, and runs strong and smooth. The Ghia starts right up and drives every time. The Brakes and the Transmission all work good. Whitewall inserts where added to the tires for that vintage classic look. The headlights as well as turning signals, horn, and wind shield wipers all are fully functioning. Bumpers are original and mostly in good used condition.
