Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. I personally test drive each vehicle so that I can tell you first hand how each one looks, runs and drives. My description is my honest opinion of each vehicle based completely on my test drive. The information contained in my description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic and do not have any vehicle inspected beyond being test driven. Personal inspections and specific questions about any of my cars are welcomed and encouraged. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is an exceptionally nice 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo in its most desirable form. This Jeep is finished in Pewter which is one of my favorite colors. Just look at the photos! For almost 200k miles, this Grand Cherokee is in well ABOVE AVERAGE condition. Looking around the outside, one would be hard pressed to find a single flaw other than a scratch on the tail gate. I could not find a spec of rust anywhere on this Jeep! All the glass in in tact. The tires all have plenty of tread but the one front tire is worn more than the other three and may need replaced. The hatch struts are worn out. That's about the worst I could say about it. Again, this Jeep is in well above average condition. The interior of this Jeep is also in well ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The headliner is starting to unglue at some of the edges. The seats are in excellent condition and show no wear. The carpets are also in excellent condition. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work as they should. The climate control works as it should. It even smells good! You would think this was a 50,000 mile truck judging from the interior. There are steering wheel controls for the cruise, ect... The cargo area is clean and spacious. Mechanically, this Jeep is in excellent condition. The 4.0L inline six starts right up and idles quietly and smoothly. I could find no leaks present. The engine makes great power and runs just as it should. During my test drive, the engine held proper temperature and oil pressure. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. As I said, this Jeep comes in its most desirable combination. The strait six is a great engine and it is mated to the Select-Trac 4WD system which is part time. I prefer this to the Quadra-Trac system because the fulltime 4WD binds up in tight corners and ruins fuel economy. This is the set up to have! The suspension feels tight with some minor play on rough roads. The brakes and steering are nice and tight. It drives down the highway nice and strait. This Jeep should run much, much longer. I think this one will go 300k judging from how well it seems to have been taken care of. Please bid with confidence. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
