This car was bought by myself to use while attending college as I drove a-lot of miles back and forth. As I am nearly done with college I would like to sell it. It was in a minor accident before I bought it. This was repaired prior to me buying it and was inspected by a Volkswagon tech at the dealership in Wichita, KS after I bought it because I was a little leery of it. He said it was up to OEM standards. I have had the transmission filter and oil changed about 4,000 miles ago and just had the engine oil changed about 500 miles ago. The back brakes were changed about 100 miles ago and all four tires have a little over 50% left on them. While I had this car I was able to consistently get 28.25 MPG with a low of 25.5mpg and a high of 34.5mpg- all averaged tank by tank. To be honest the car does have some very minor cosmetic blemishes. The wheels have some of the clear coat that has pitted off and on the roof of the car there are a few spots where the clear coat is very slightly damaged. The clear coat on the roof IS NOT peeling- it looks like it is very finely etched in a couple of small spots. This has not gotten worse since I bought the car so I am not sure what it is. The interior is in pristine shape and this car has never been smoked in. There are no mechanical problems that I am aware of as I just had it in at the dealer and it was scanned there and came up clear. All applicable warranty work has been done as well as all recalls- (The one I had it in for was the steering wheel lock.) If you would like a short aftermarket warranty for this car I would be willing to pay $100 to assist with the cost.
