I've had this vehicle since 1991. Put a conversion motor into it in 1998. 429cu. in. Had motor bored out over 40. Completely rebuilt. Included are Lunati Cam, MSD distributor and computer box, steel forged pistons 850 cfi Holly 4brl Carberator, Intake Manifold, step down switch, B & M Speed Shifter.. New C6 High Performance Auto Transmission w/torque convertor. New sticker 10/2010. It is a real sleeper. Regular road gears in rear end. Had it painted and some rust work done two summers ago. It is an antique car now and the uniqueness of this package under the hood draws leary looks going down the highway. I've always maintained it well and have driven it as a personal car since I've had it. THE ODOMETER Problem: I bought this vehicle from a friend in 91 and have had it to present. The odometer only goes up to 5 digits or 10s of thousands. it was around 150,000mi. on paperwork when i bought it but because of the limit of the odometer readout, everytime dmv asked me for current mileage or yearly insurance applications, i had to guess which makes it look like a roller coaster in the computer because i didn't know what to put in and be accurate but had to put in something. i've been running two cars since 2000 but for first 9yrs i averaged 12,000 mi and year and from 2000 on, i figure 5,000 a year because i was alternating cars. Hope this clears up the "odometer problem" i have owned it and been sole operator since 1991. i'm now retired and want to limit myself to only one car. I've had fun with it for 20yrs so now its time for someone else to enjoy.
