ODOMETER READS 31,013 I BELIEVE CAR HAS 131,013 BUT BECAUSE OF YEAR THE TITLE STATES MILEAGE NOT REQUIRED. A Z28 CLONE IS A CAR MADE TO LOOK LIKE A Z28 WITH THE COWL HOOD AND EMBLEMS...THIS CAR WAS A RED 350 V8 CAMARO WHEN ORIGINALLY PRODUCED. THIS CAR WAS A CLONE WHEN I PURCHASED IT. ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO I HAD A NEW 300 HP GM PERFORMANCE ENGINE PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED BY A GM TECHNICIAN. ENGINE WAS NOT A RE-MANNED BUT A COMPLETE ENGINE WITH HEADS BRAND NEW CRATE PERFORMANCE 350. THIS ENGINE PROBABLY HAS ABOUT 8,000 MILES ON IT. THE TRANSMISSION IS AN AUTOMATIC 3 SPEED TURBO 350. HAS A SHIFT KIT FROM 1ST TO SECOND, NORMAL DRIVING YOU CANT TELL...IF YOU GET ON IT IT WILL CHIRP THE TIRES GOING INTO SECOND GEAR. NEW CLUTCHES WERE PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED IN TRANSMISSION 4 YEARS AGO AND TRANSMISSION PERFORMS GREAT. ENGINE ALSO RUNS GREAT BUT COULD PROBABLY USE THE TIMING SET A LITTLE BETTER. CAR IS SOLID AND RUNS DOWN THE ROAD NICELY. NO LEAKS FROM ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION. IT HAS DRUM BRAKES THAT ARE MANUAL BUT OPERATE AND WORK GREAT. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS INSTALLED I ALSO HAD A COMPLETE NEW EXHAUST INSTALLED, INCLUDING HEADMAN CERAMIC HEADERS (THEY HAVE SOME RUST ON THEM NOW), AND COMPLETE EXHAUST INCLUDING GLASS PACKS FRONT TO REAR. CAR SOUNDS GREAT WITH A NICE LOPE TO IT! A NEW CHROME ALTERNATOR THAT IS NOW SURFACE RUSTING. A HOLLEY HI FLOW PERFORMANCE FUEL PUMP, ALSO A NEW EDELBROCK 4 BARRELL CARB. AT THAT TIME ALSO A SUMMITT PERFORMANCE IGNITION SYSTEM AND NEW WIRES. IT HAS AN EDELBROCK ALUMINUM INTAKE. BRAIDED HEATER AND COOLING HOSES. I AM NOT A MECHANIC, I AM A GENERAL MANAGER AT A CHEVY DEALERSHIP AND PURCHASED ALL THE ITEMS AND HAD THEM PROFESSIONALY INSTALLED BY A GM CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN. HEADLINER AND SHOULDER SEAT BELT THAT TUCKS UP ALONG HEADLINER ABOVE WINDOWS ARE ARE ALL THERE AND IN GREAT SHAPE. I RECOVERED THE SEATS AND THE DASH IS IN GREAT SHAPE AS WELL AS THE CENTER CONSOLE AND SHIFTER AREA THESE ARE ALL ORIGINAL. ALL GLASS IS ORIGINAL AS ARE THE BUMPERS AND I BELIEVE ALL THE METAL. THE DOOR SEAL RUBBER IS ALSO ORIGINAL AND GETTING WEATHER CRACKED. ALL WINDOWS ROLL UP FINE BUT WINDOW FELTS COULD BE REPLACED. CARPET IN PASSENGER LOWER DOOR NEEDS REPLACED OR REINSTALLED. SONY STEREO WITH CD PLAYER AND A WORKING 400 WATT AMP IN TRUNK AND CD CHANGER IN TRUNK THAT I DONT BELIEVE HAS A CARTRIDGE AND MAY NOT WORK. SONY EXPLODE SPEAKERS IN REAR WINDOW, MOUNTED IN NICE DARK GRAY SPEAKER BOXES THAT WILL BLAST YOU OUT OF CAR. TIRES ARE COOPERS AND ARE DEEP IN TREAD AND PROBABLY 8 YEARS OLD...THEY ARE ON A SET OF CRAGER CHROME WHEELS THAT HAVE SOME SURFACE RUST ON CENTER CAPS AND A LITTLE AROUND SOME OUTTER BOLTS BUT OVERALL WHEELS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. AIR SHOCKS ON THE REAR TO ADJUST REAR HEIGHT, AND THEY HOLD AIR GREAT AND NEVER LOWER UNLESS YOU DO IT. THE OUTSIDE HAS NOT BEEN PAINTED IN AT LEAST 25 YEARS. THE HUGGER ORANGE IS FADED AND THIN AS THE MANY YEARS HAVE TAKEN THEIR TOLL. I BOUGHT THE CAR THIS WAY AND HAVE NOT DONE ANY BODYWORK EXCEPT THE HOOD WAS REPAINTED YEARS AGO WHEN I REPLACED THE FIBERGLASS HOOD WITH A NEW STEEL HOOD BUT IT ALSO COULD USE A REPAINT BUT IS MUCH SHINIER THAN THE REST OF THE CAR. THE CAR WAS ORIGINALLY A RED STANDARD 350 V8 CAMARO BEFORE IT WAS MADE TO LOOK LIKE A Z28. THE RED PAINT IS SHOWING INSIDE THE DOOR JAMS SOME AND ALSO WHEN THE TRUNK IS OPEN, IT MAY LOOK LIKE RUST IN PICTURES BUT THIS IS RED PAINT.. ABOVE THE DRIP RAILS OVER DOORS I HAVE CLEAR SILICONE OVER THE PAINT WHERE IT WAS STARTING TO CRACK JUST TO KEEP IT ON BUT THIS IS NOT REALLY NOTICEABLE NO RUST AT ALL AROUND THE FRONT WINDOW OR DASH WHICH IS ON MOST OF THESE CARS BUT A LIITLE UNDER REAR GLASS BUT NOT BAD. FRONT PILLARS HAVE PAINT CRACKING ALSO. THE TRUNK FLOOR, UNDERNEATH CHASSIS, UNDER FRONT HOOD, INSIDE DOOR JAMS VERY RUST FREE. AROUND REAR WHEEL WELLS DEFINATELY RUST COMING THRU, IF I WAS TO KEEP IT I WOULD HAVE CAR REQUARTED AND PAINTED. FRONT FENDERS ARE GOOD AS IS UNDER HOOD AND CHASSIS. AFTER ALL OF THESE YEARS I CANT BELIEVE ITS NOT WORSE. THERE ARE A FEW SMALL DENTS IN CAR BUT NOTHING NOT EASILY REPAIRED IF REPAINTED. THIS HAS BEEN A CAR IN THIS AREA ITS WHOLE LIFE AND WAS NOT REALLY PASSED AROUND ALOT WITH MANY MANY OWNERS. THIS IS A DECENT CAR THAT HAS NOT HAD ANY MAJOR ABUSE, THE GENTLEMAN THAT I GOT IT FROM HAD IT FOR YEARS BEFORE ME, I SEE GUYS PAYING $7-9000 FOR CARS THAT ARE BASKET CASES THAT DONT COME CLOSE TO THIS CARS QUALITY. I DONT WANT PEOPLE TO THINK THIS ISN'T A GOOD CAR BY MY THOROUGHNESS OF DESCRIPTION, BUT WHEN YOU COME TO SEE IT, IT IS A GREAT CAR THAT WAS COMPLETELY DESCRIBED, THAT IS NOT A RUSTED OUT AND THROUGH PEICE OF CRAP. I HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY ON THIS CAR BUT I NEVER DRIVE IT AND ITS TIME TO GO. I BELIEVE THAT I HAVE DESCRIBED IT AS BEST POSSIBLE. RESERVE IS LOW AND CAR WILL SELL.
