This a 1930 ford model A 4door that is titled as a 1928 4door hudson essex. i had no problem registering and insuring it as a hudson! the body is chopped 6" and channeld 6" over the frame. the frame is made out of 2x3x1/8 mild steel tubing . the frame is z'd 9" in the front and is plated on both sides inner and outter. it has a speedway superbell 4" dropped i beam axle kit. has hairpin setup and shocks as well. the rear suspension has a jegster 4-link setup in the rear with shocks and and airbags. the rear is a big ford 9" and runs great on the highway at low rpm's. it has a holley red electric fuel pump and a jazz 9 gall fuel cell. the motor is in great shape and was rebuilt by gm and i only put 2,000 miles on it so far.i made custom exhaust for it and is an open header style that turns out a little bit on the ends to stop heat transfer and exhaust fumes from coming in. it has an edelbrock 600 cfm carb with mechanical secondaries and has a speedway mini starter that turns that motor over with ease. the trans is an automatic turbo 350 that came with the motor and also runs great. it has had a new filter and gasket installed.the brakes on it function really well. disk brakes up front and drums in the rear that have been installed with new springs and shoes. this is deff a rat rod cause it does not come with chrome and pretty paint. it sit's low, it's loud, it's fast and turns alot of heads goin down the road. the interior is basic and simple but could be customized . feel free to call me anytime with questions you have (609)891-5700.
