This is a true 1969 GTO convertible. It is not a Judge, but was done with the Orbit Orange paint and matching stripes. It was restored 6 months ago and has less than 1000 miles since done. This is not a 100 point show car. It has had new fenders, hood, quarters and outer wheel houses done. All body and paint was done professionally. It is very nice, but is not a Barrett Jackson car. It is however nicer then the average and a real GTO convertible. THIS IS NOT A CLONE. It is a GTO with Judge stripes. It has the original heads, intake, trans and rear. The block was rebuilt about 35K and is a 455 block. The interior is nice and the trunk is solid. The top goes up and down fine and is nice, but not new. It has no rips and doesn't leak, but should be done at some time in the future. It runs well has a new gas tank, brakes were done, new trim, grills bumper, taillights, emblems etc. Overall very nice. I would like to sell but not giving it away. With very little work the car could go to the next level or just drive it and enjoy. Gets lots of looks. It is unique for a 69.On Feb-25-11 at 20:44:48 PST, seller added the following information: The rear is a 3.55 posi unit and was totally rebuilt about 3 years ago. The floor repairs were seam sealed and undercoated and there is a new sending unit and fuel line. The whole frame was cleaned and coated with POR 15 before the body was done, but got very dusty in the body shop for 2 years. Again, this is a great driver/local show car. It is rust free and has many new things. There are some interior lights that need to be replaced, but everything works that needs to for the car to be driven and enjoyed. The exhaust is fine, but not new. You don't need to replace it to drive. Tires still have good tread. Hope this helps.
