This car was purchased as a rolling chassis and then mated with a 1999 Chevrolet SS Camaro. The Donar car was a very nice 1999 SS Camaro that had approx 40,000 miles on it. We took the LS1 engine, 6spd trans, and various other parts from them 99 Car and adapted them to this super nice 69 RS body. All of the work was done professionally and there are absolutely no isses with the swap. The car has been driven about 500 miles since the swap was completed. The car cranks and runs perfect and with a custom tune is making about 350hp at the wheels. The trans and clutch are both very smooth and work flawlessly. The Car stops and turns on a dime thanks to power steering and power front disk brakes. The car has a 12 bolt rear axle with a posi unit and 3.73 gears. The exhaust consists of a flowmaster header back kit and a set of custom polished headers. A set of 18 inch Boyd Coddington wheels and michelin rubber sit underneath this beautiful machine. This car isnt 100% complete here is a list of what it needs -front fog lights -backseat -inside door handles -lock for the truck -few interior trim pieces to sum it up less than 1000 dollars and a few hours time will complete the car The only issues with this car are listed below -The turn signals do not work -The hideaway headlights do not open themselves -The wheels have some scuffs( I wanted to put 2010 SS Camaro wheels on it but never got around to it) This car is a real headturner and can be driven anywhere with the LS1 and the 6speed The Fuel Milage is Great !!!
