Volvo Styling………… Full Instrumentation……. 2.4 Liter 20-Valve DOHC Turbo Powerplant ……… Description: The Volvo V70 wagon is one of my favorite models to offer. These fine vehicles are ideal for the family or someone with a small business needing room to transport items. This model has the 2.4 L Turbo powerplant to give you a bit more zip in you driving. Dealer serviced and clean! Make this one yours! Options: Finished in bright silver with a steel blue accent stripe and tan leather upholstery, this VERY CLEAN 2001 Volvo V70 Turbo Wagon features about everything that you expect in a Swedish sports wagon beginning with the smooth and responsive 2.4 Liter 20-Valve DOHC Turbo powerplant teamed with an electronically controlled 5-speed automatic overdrive transmission, driver, passenger and side SRS (air bags), fully automatic dual zone climate control featuring a factory R134a refrigerant charge, 4-wheel ABS (anti-lock brakes), power windows, central locking system, power mirrors, power driver’s seat, factory alloy wheels, factory sound system w/CD slot, 4-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, service reminder system, driver’s information center, rear window wiper/washer system, rear view mirror defroster, luggage rack, folding rear seat and much more! Yet ANOTHER Clean Southern Ride! This vehicle is riding on a very good set of Goodyear® Assurance™ touring tires! Service and Inspection Report: We brought this clean Volvo in for service and found a few things to make the vehicle just right. The prior owner had kept this vehicle in very good condition and indicated that it had been dealer serviced. We started with an oil/filter change along with a new oil cap seal. While under the hood, we installed a NEW TIMING BELT along with a new tensioner and guide bearing. That’s the only way to do things is right! Continuing under the hood, we installed new Denso® brand spark plugs. During timing belt service is when we typically change spark plugs. Everything else looked just fine. To finish under the hood, we decided to do a preventative service that no dealer in the world would do for you. We installed a new oil separator/PCV breather box. Doing so requires removal of the intake manifold. It’s a job that is worth $900 at any Volvo dealer. While we had things apart, we cleaned the electronic throttle body for you. After driving, we noticed that the engine temperature didn’t quite come up and the computer showed that the engine temperature was a few degrees below of operating temperature. So, rather than most dealers who would have said “We don’t know nuttin’ ‘bout ‘dat.”, we installed a new OEM grade thermostat. Now it’s right on the money! Moving along, the climate control worked perfectly and we noticed that the prior owner has installed a new compressor and drier assembly. We decided to finish things off so we replaced the cabin air filter. The brakes were new in the front and fine in the rear. While the vehicle was up in the air, we replaced the fuel filter, too! As is usually the case, we installed new wiper blades. Rather than “let ‘er go” like most dealers, we like you to have new blades. All in all, we did what would have amounted to $2,000 worth of service to this vehicle if you bought all of this after the sale yourself! Shop around and then ADD IT UP! We don’t use some rhubarb pie tobacco-spitting shop that cuts corners and tells more lies than Carter has peanuts. We do the work ourselves so that we know that it is done RIGHT! To qualify, you must send the deposit of 20% of the vehicle price as listed in the "terms" section of the listing, followed by another 25% 30 days later, another 25% 60 days later and the balance of the vehicle at 90 days. There is a storage fee after the first 30 days (first 30 days are at no charge) and we offer the storage up to 90 days when the balance is to be paid in full. You can take up to 90 days to pay for the vehicle as long as you follow the payment schedule that is posted.
