Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1930 Model A Ford 4 door Phaeton. This is an older restoration which started with a very good, all steel original solid car. It is painted with Kewanee green and Elkpoint green, black fenders, apple green wheels. The car has LeBaron Bonney top and interior, 4 speed synchronized transmission with overdrive (Gary's transmission-a $2500 option). Also includes electronic ignition, 6 volt alternator, Halogen lights in original headlight shells. It has a leakless water pump and turn signals. All gauges, lights, speedometer in great working order and has a great sounding original sparton horn. The car is a great touring car with excellent brakes. The paint does have some chips/blemishes but she still looks pretty good and a real head turner. Has a small chip in windshield which I show in one of the pictures. We recently purchased a new LaBaron boot for the top. It has never over-heated,even in Florida 4th July car show. We invite and encourge your inspection prior to bidding. I have tried to descibe the condition to the best of my ability, so please ask questions. We are located near Pensacola, FL. You may contact me if you need further info. I will sell world wide except Italy, can help load for transport ,additionally can store up to 30 days after auction close. Winning bidder required to make deposit of $1,000 via pay-pal with in 48 hrs of auction end, balance due 7 days from auction close in form of cash, cashier ck, or other certified funds. Don't let this nice touring car get away as you know these 1930 Ford phaetons do not come available very often. Thank You. On Feb-22-11 at 14:06:20 PST, seller added the following information: I somehow missed posting a shot of the carb. side of engine. To answer the question of carb. type it is an original Zenith cast iron type and has been recently rebuilt with new parts and gaskets.
