This is a short bed 1971 C-10 8 foot Chevy step-side. I bought this truck from the original owner in Washington state. The truck was in Arizona for about 5 years and is now in Colorado. This truck has always been stored indoors under a cover. When I purchased the truck it had been through a full frame off restoration. The bed has new oak wood with stainless steel rails. This truck has no rust. I replaced the original six cylinder with a 350. The engine was completly rebuilt from scratch. I went to the rebuild shop daily to check on the progress as it was done. The engine has less than 1,000 miles on it. The heads are after market Dart performance with stainless steel valves. The roller rockers, valve springs and lifters came with the Comp Cam kit. The cam has a little higher lift than stock. The pistons are stock with a forged steel crank shaft. The engine was balanced after all work was completed. It has a brand new Holley 650 CFM carburator, aluminum intake and nickle headers. The ignition is MSD with new wires. The truck has the original bullet proof granny gear transmission. When it was apart, I had a brand new heavy duty clutch and pressure plate installed. The truck has power steering. During the rebuilding of this truck I spared no cost and have well over $15,000.00 in it. There are just a few chips on the paint on the rear fender due to sparks from a grinder that went through the cover. I love this truck but need the room for other things.
