Vehicle Detail
Here is a rare 2 door "Handyman" Wagon. A working man's Nomad. This is NOT a drive it while you restore it vehicle. This wagon needs a total restoration, preferable frame off. But these are some of the coolest, and rarest, street rods when restored. The frame has rust and needs one body mount replaced. The rest of the body mounts look okay to me but you will not know for sure until sandblasted. The body has rust in the lower corners of the left and right front quarters. The body was in gray primer when I bought it 5 years ago and no new rust has come thru the primer in that time (the vehicle has been stored inside at all times) There are the usual number of dings and dents but no creases in the sheetmetal. Most of the chrome is missing. There is no interior. There is no gas tank. The V-8 engine ran using a gas can when I bought it, but to be conservative let's say it does not run. The 3 speed on the floor, like the engine, is of unknown origin. A restoration would call for replacing both anyway. Glass is good except for driver's side wing window, and main window, and the window directly befhind the driver's window. By the way these windows behind the driver's and passengers window, roll down. HOW COOL!!! Tires and wheels are just rollers. Mileage is unknown I have dozens of additional photos, just send you email address and I will forward them.
