1963 BMW R69S with Avon Avonaire Faring. This is a very stock bike with the exception of the megaphone mufflers. The engine is newly rebuilt by Benchmark Works (Vech) In Mississippi. The engine case is factory new without numbers (I have the Original) , the crank was done at Korn's, Heads were done by Randy Long, the pistons are 1st oversize. I have only put a couple miles on the bike since assembly but will ride it some more weather permitting. The wheels are built with stainless steel spokes and Weineman alloy rims. The bike is set up for solo sport riding withthe factory solo saddle and a fender mounted luggage rack. the final drive has the 25/8 gears for a 3.13 to 1 gear ratio. The R69S was their top of the line Sport Bike for the last 8 years of /2 production, it is rated at 42 Hp with high dome pistons and 26 mm carbs.
