1996 BMW R-Series

As you can tell from the mileage and pictures, this is a very lightly used BMW in gorgeous condition. I am the second owner, having purchased it from a BMW Dealer in 1997, with about 1000 miles on it. According to the dealer the bike had never been dropped, and hasn't been since I've owned it. The options list includes: Staintune exhaust system, performance chip (both dealer installed), ABS brakes, heated grips, BMW lockable hard side bags and a battery tender that plugs directly into an electrical port on the bike. The clutch was replaced by the dealer several years ago, though the new clutch doesn't have many miles on it. The battery is about 2 years old. I have most, if not all of the service records and my original bill of sale, but not with me as of the writing of this ad (that's why I had to approximate some data). This is the first time I'm listing the bike, and comparisons are difficult to find, so I hope that my reserve level is reasonable. I guess we'll find out as the auction goes along.
