This car was special ordered as a “Lightweight” including the No Sunroof Option, No Power/ Heated Seats and No Cruise Control. Many M3 enthusiast attempt to drive down weight in search of more extreme performance - This car was ordered from the factory with this in mind!! The car runs perfect, is very fast, and truly handles like it is on rails. At 100K, I decided to restore, and rebuild all typical wear items to return the car to as close to “Factory Fresh” as possible. As a result, the car is as clean of an example of an E36 M3 as you will find. Restoration Effort The car was professionally repainted factory Dakar II by AJ USA, and is perfect. No rock chips anywhere! I replaced all black plastic trim that showed wear, and the exterior simply looks perfect All grilles have been replaced with factory BMW parts. Also, tail lights and fog lights have been replaced with new units. The vehicle has a significant number of performance upgrades in addition to the extensive preventative maintenance that has been performed in addition to the aesthetics.
