FOUR YEAR RESTORATION COMPLETED 2007 Just arrived, this car was purchased by Dave Huey of Cincinnati, Ohio in 1980 and owned for thirty years. Starting in 2004, Dave had a complete frame-off restoration completed on this rare, first year TR4. A three inch binder of receipts shows almost every part available in the catalog was ordered and installed. Dave says he spent over $50K restoring this car!!! The exterior and interior of this car is striking and it has to be one of the best TR4's on the road in the USA. This car has had an excellent repaint in its original factory Bright Red, a new black convertible top and a fabulous contrasting tan interior with leather seats. New wood grained dash and pad... Excellent chrome, stainless, and badging. The car is equipped with its original 2.1 litre, inline four cylinder engine, brand new dual SU carbs and four speed manual transmission.
