So if you have any questions regarding the purchase of this Camaro please contact me for more info. This car is sold as is and please do not bid if you are not willing to commit to pay for the car within the time frame required along with the required deposit, Thank You! Hi, I am selling my 1993 Camaro Z28 with many upgrades! I had so many plans for this car and hate to let it go but due to my financial situation I have to. It has a clean CarFax report with only 3 owners. I have posted a pictures of the one I got from the dealer last year when I purchased the car. Note that on it, it says 2 owners so the new one should say 3 owners. My plan for the car was to build it as a show/street/drag/sleeper car. It has an extremely loud and strong Hot Rod sound when you open up the Dual Cutouts at 100% yet it keeps a sleeper sound during traffic with them closed. When I went to a car show some people thought I even had a way bigger engine than a 350, please check out the YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nDg07BC1GE This video was recorded with a phone and the quality of the sound is not that great. The exhaust sounds way better in person! I also have a second setting set for the cutouts at 30% and this can be changed to your likings on the QTP cutout controller in order to have them open at any percentage you’d like. At 30% they sound really nice in the street also. Maintenance: The oil has recently been replaced about 100 miles ago with Mobil One High Mileage Synthetic Oil along with the Mobil One oil filter (I used Mobil One on every oil change since I got the car). The transmission and rear differential fluid have also been replaced about 3K miles ago along with the fuel filter. The tires are in great shape, they are only about 1,500 miles old. The car rides very strong and under nice weather the wider tires really help keep it under control in tight turns. My next plan was to get a set of Strano Springs on Yellow Koni’s along with a new set of rotors and pads but I had to stop at this point due to my current financial situation. Current upgrades: Intake: LS1 aftermarket K&N high flow air intake system (KNN-57-3022-2) hooked up directly to the stock LT1 intake manifold (has the IAT sensor hooked up to the hole provided on the air K&N air filter). Exhaust: Pacesetter ceramic long tube headers with the NGK 3 wire heated O2 sensors conversion. Full 3 inch exhaust piping with 3 inch electronic cutouts after each header in the y-pipe going back to a single pipe with a 3 inch glass pack. Basically capable of running straight headers at any time. Air/EGR Have been removed for a cleaner look. Extras: Performance chip tuned by PCMforless.com set to current specifications of the car including the tire and wheel size. This chip is easy to take out and can be retuned as you get upgrades through PCMforless.com. Racetronix Walbro 255L/Hr fuel pump kit with the upgraded harness hookup to the alternator for more voltage. Autolite 104 spark plugs gapped at .045” with MSD 8.5mm wires. Hypertech 160 degree thermostat. Custom battery hold down. Viper 5701 security system with remote start and two way pager! (Note: The New Smart Start system that allows you to run your alarm from your phone can be hooked up to this Viper 5701 security system.) It also has smoked out tail light covers and front turn signal covers, and the rear center rear light along with the rear bumper lights have been smoked out also, however you can still see the red lights when you hit the brakes. Stereo System: Pioneer DEH-4200UB Head Unit with remote control running straight wires to 2 front and 2 rear Rockford Fosgate Prime three way speakers. It has an iPod hook up also and it’s hidden through the center counsel compartment. Two 10” JL Subs with a Sony Xplod 1200 watt amplifier tucked in the rear compartment. Wheel/Tire Size: Front 275/40/R17 Nitto 555R Drag Radials on 17X9.5” Corvette ZR1 Style Wheels (Black with Machined Lip) Rear 315/35/R17 Nitto 555R Drag Radials on 17X11” Corvette ZRI Style Wheels (Black with Machined Lip) Wheel Lug Nuts with Dual Locks (the two lock keys are included). Also included with this car: Original Clear/Clean Title. Two sets of keys. Manuals for the Pioneer stereo and the Viper alarm system (alarm has Best Buy warranty and it will be included any receipts). The front license plate holder with the smoked out covers for both front and back plates is also included. The Chevy floor mats. An extra cup holder. Old original chip that the car came with along with any other extra parts. Minor issues and concerns with the car: Wheels: I purchased the wheels used from a friend, they are in really good condition other then some minor curve damage on three of the wheels (front driver/front passenger/rear passenger). It’s nothing big but if you would like you can purchase these same wheels where he got them from www.oewheelsllc.com they are only $449 for all four plus shipping! Emissions: The car passed CO emissions with flying colors before the headers and CAT removal, so I'm sure it can pass again specially with the tune as long as a CAT is installed. Some states like CA require a visual inspection so make sure you check with your local DMV. Windows: The driver side window can use a new guide and alignment. The previous ball joint that guides the guide up and down broke off and I had to get a new one that was bigger in size from Elite Auto Glass. Therefore the weather stripping on the door was adjusted to make up for this. It has some minor wind noise on the highway but can’t be heard with the stereo up. The passenger side window makes a bit of a rattle sometimes on bumpy roads, it’s not too big though and it depends on where the window is rolled at the moment. I’m sure it can be fixed. Both windows also tend to leak a tiny bit when you take the car under some high pressure car wash (not all car washes do this). I think this is due to them needing to be aligned better. However in rain and snow they are fine. Other: Rarely the security light comes on I think it’s because of the vats system getting old and the system no recognizing the key. I’ve heard that this can be bypassed with a resistor matching the resistance on the pellet of the key. The driver side header rear bolt was stripped by the person who installed them. There should be a way to fix this issue with the right tools or with a professional mechanic. When I bought the car and went to remove the front license plate holder for a cleaner look I noticed that the fog lights were missing and the person who installed the grill drilled 2 screws through it to the bumper in order to hold the grill and the license plate holder. They also have 2 small screws on each side of the grill holding it. The grill is held really good though, a little loose but cannot fall off. It’s not really noticeable since the grill and screws are black. The fog light switch does work and the wires are there but I never got any fog lights for it. The car also has a minor leak in the front. I believe it’s coming from the front main seal. I asked the dealer how much it would be and they said it would cost $200 to fix if they do not have to remove the timing cover. The heater/AC/rear window defroster work great! Brakes are ok with no squeaks. Suspension is ok also but can be better since it's stock. The car has 5% tint on the rear, driver side and passenger side. At night it becomes hard to see but you can get used to it. They shouldn’t cost much to replace if you need to get lighter tint. The Paint is not the best with small scratches but no major dents. I guess this is normal for older black cars. When I bought the car it did not come with the front headlight covers but it looks like it used to have them since small indentations are around the front part of the headlights. I am sure these covers can be found online if you wish to get some. The antenna was disconnected in order to cap it off for a cleaner look but the radio still works. However sometimes it gets static and the signal goes out. This can be fixed by buying a antenna to connect to the cable inside. I had a car with one before and it was hidden also and the radio sounded nice even though it was inside the car hidden away. The sound of the car with the cutouts closed is ok but can be better; I was planning to get a Magnaflow style 3” glasspack/muffler to get a better sound. However when they are open at 30% they sound really mean and even better at 100%. It really rumbles at 100% and you can feel the vibrations of the car pouring out its American V8 power all over. Thank you for stopping by, Have a Great Day!
