66 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible This Corvair is my very clean daily driver and has been a blast to own. The body is real straight with a few minor dings and scratches some very small surface rust on the driver side some minor surface pitting on the wheels and bumpers, no rot whatsover. This is not a show car and its not concourse ready. Originally built in Los Angeles has been a Southern Cal all its life so far. Has black plates and is currently registered. New Goodyear Eagle GTII radials on 14" Chrome Chevy SS wheels. New Front Shocks and Front Strut Bushings, and New Nylon Rear Strut Bushings. Interior is original with a few rips on rear seat back & drivers seat back & cushions. New Carpet, New Clark's dual exhaust. Engine runs great, Tranny shifts smooth. Engine has small oil leak typical for age and condition. Engine & Trans were converted to 110hp and auto trans so wife could drive it. I hav a 4sp Trans and Possi Dif set-up I will include in the sale. I also have a 140hp basket engine with all good usable parts for a negotiable price.
