Here is a nice 1997 Ford Ranger Stepside Splash 3.0, 5 speed that runs and drives well! The truck has cold air conditioning. It has a nice clean appearance with a good shine on the paint. Features include clean bedliner, rear sliding glass window, sport rims, small tool carrier and Sony cd/stereo. Despite the high mileage this engine runs strong and the clutch is good. It was a daily driver of mine for the past 2 1/2 years until last week when it was upgraded by a 2003 Toyota Prerunner. The exterior is clean with only a small dented front passenger bumper area (pictured) and minor damage on the rear passenger lens (pictured). The interior is very presentable. The seats are split bucket style with a center console that folds down. (the center console is attached to the driver side split bucket seat and is a little loose. It does secure properly as well as go up and down). Tires will need replacing in the very near future. Driver side door lock is difficult to turn with key but it does turn and lock and open, passenger lock is inop. You will find upon inspection that the truck is as described, the engine sounds very good, and the truck runs out well. If you look hard enough you will find the rear main seal has alittle weep going on but not much accumulation. The truck can be seen daily Monday through Friday at my uncles shop just off Northlake Blvd in LakePark Florida. (8am-6pm) I have title in hand. I require the buyer to register the truck immediately after the purchase. For local Florida buyers the tag agency is only one exit north at PGA Blvd. Sorry but someone several years ago took my car title and never registered it and it caused me alot of grief and a great deal of money. Purchaser can pay for transaction at time of sale, in person. I prefer to sell locally so that any interested party can come look and drive the truck and make their decision on the "real deal" rather than just on my description. If you are not local and are interested, it is always a good idea to have an independant party do an inspection. You'll find that my description is very accurate. The tire had a nail in it and I swapped it out with the spare. I also made the decision to have the rear main seal replaced to alleviate any possible concerns. The truck will be available this weekend. I am advertising this truck locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if the truck sells outside of Ebay prior to its reserve being met.
