I am an automobile sales manager and have been for over 30 years. 11 years ago this Fleetwood came in trade on a new car and I called my father to come to the dealership and buy this car. It has been his reliable driver since then until he-at the age of 84- hit some black ice last December and nosed the car into a local ditch. The ditch won. His insurance company only wanted to give him $3500-$4000 for the car as that is the average price of one of these models. We did not accept their offer and after their own hired appraiser and our own appraiser inspected the car, the settlement price was agreed at $7000 plus tax. That speaks for the condition of this car prior to it being damaged. It is now our duty to locate a new owner that can restore this fine car to a presentable condition. It is in rock solid running condition. Everything works except what was damaged in the accident. $1000 spent in routine maintenance 3000 miles ago. It features the high demand 5.7L V8. The transmission still shifts as intended. No howling from the rear end. The remote door/trunk locks work perfectly. The interior is the high point of the car. No rips, just a minor wear spot on the drivers seat. The car is in Snohomish, about 25 miles from where I reside. This car has spent its life in Washington State. We don't have problems of rust in this part of the country. If you want to drive this car cross country, it will make it without problem. I have had to repost this car because I wasn't sure if the title was branded due to the problem with the ditch. I disclosed a possible branding in my 1st auction, but I didn't check the salvage box. So, this is in fact considered SALVAGE from the insurance claim. This is a legit NO RESERVE auction with B I N should anyone wish to go that route. The running gear is worth about $2000 alone.
