The Jeep Cherokee was a long-running design, very little changes from its introduction in the early 80’s to final production. The Cherokee features one of the very best 4x4 systems ever offered and the vehicle has been proven to be very durable and affordable to own. The inline 6-cylinder engine design is a carry-over from that bulletproof AMC design, sized to 4.0 liters, offering more than adequate power in this vehicle. The prior owner took good care of this vehicle and it shows. Make this one yours! Yet ANOTHER Clean Southern Ride! This vehicle is riding on a BRAND NEW set of Uniroyal Laredo™ Cross Country™ tires! Service and Inspection Report: We brought this clean Jeep in for service and noticed that the prior owner had really taken good care of this vehicle. We really didn’t find much to make the vehicle just right. The vehicle has just had a recent oil change, but we decided to change it anyway since the mileage was about half way through the change limit. While we were under the hood, we went to install a new air filter but discovered a brand new one already there! We vacuumed the sand and debris that normally accumulates in the air filter box and put it back together. While we had the air snorkel off, we decided to clean the throttle body but yes, that had been done too. We gave it a spray and put everything back together. Moving along, the climate control worked perfectly. The brakes look good, both front and rear. The windshield has a small crack from flying debris, so rather than “let ‘er go” like most dealers, we had a new windshield installed. As is usually the case, we installed new wiper blades. Good tires are important to any vehicle and we decided that it would be best to install new tires. Yes, those are BRAND NEW Uniroyal Laredo™ Cross Country™ that you see in the photos. Most would have played dumb and suggested that the old tires were “pretty good” and if questioned, would have said “We didn’t know nuttin bout dat.”. All in all, we did what would have amounted to $800 worth of service to this vehicle if you bought all of this after the sale yourself! That’s the Grove Automotive Group, Inc. difference.
