Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by cutting out the expense of the fancy lot, salesmens commission and all the other junk you end up paying for. I personally test drive each vehicle so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. My descriptions are my honest opinion of that car based on my test drive. The information contained within my description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Specific questions and personal inspections are welcomed and encouraged. I am happy to answer any question EXCEPT "what is your buy it now". In the interest of fairness I do not end auctions early. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Today it is my pleasure to present one heck of a 1996 Volvo 960 for a NO RESERVE auction. The 960 and subsequent S90 were the flagships of the Volvo line up during the 90's. This example is presented in a dark red exterior over a nice tan interior. Although there is some significant chipping of the clear coat on the hood and trunk, this is still a good looking car. There are no major dents, scratches or scrapes. I was able to find no rust either. The tires are matching and have decent tread left on them. All the glass appears to be in tact. Volvo is mostly known for reliable mid-sized sedans but rarely for there upscale luxury cars. This car definitely commands a presence and is obviously not your average Volvo. The one photo of the drivers side from the rear looks bad but the car looks good on the side. I'm not sure what happened to the photo. It looks like soap from washing it, honestly. The interior of this Volvo is in excellent condition for its age. Other than some minor pulling of the leather on the passengers door panel, there is nothing bad to say about the inside. The seats are very supple and supportive and have multiple memory settings. The carpets and headliner are all clean and have no stains or holes that I could find. This car is equipped with the winter package which gives it heated seats and headlamp washers. The climate control is fully automatic and works as it should. The factory premium sound system still sounds amazing. There are two keys as well as two remotes. In the glove box there is a complete set of owners books including service records and the original window sticker. Pride in ownership definitely shows throughout this automobile. All the power features (windows, locks, seats and sunroof) work as they should. There are front and rear fog lights for safety in addition to Volvo's legendary safety features (airbags and SIPS). Mechanically, this car is a rock star! At nearly 225,000 miles, this car is a testiment to Volvo's quality and engineering. The 2.9L strait six starts right up and idles smoothly and quietly. There isn't even as much as a tick in the engine. I could find no signs of any leaks either. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. The steering and suspension are both tight and responsive as they should be. The brakes stop this Volvo well and without vibration or noise. At highway speeds, this Volvo drives strait down the road and shows no pulling or vibrations. This car appears to have been dealer maintained since new. The service book is completely filled in since brand new and is stamped from the same local PA dealer. The timing belt service was just done again at just over 200k. This ONE OWNER Volvo has a newer PA inspection. This car behaves so well it would blow your mind. Please bid with complete confidence. I was actually torn about selling this car or not. I've been driving a Mercedes 300E for the last few months and this car is head and shoulders better in every possible way.
