I am listing this vehicle for a friend who's husband has just passed away, I am in California but will be returning to Louisiana on Monday (1-31) so if there are any questions please email me and I will give a phone # to call her son in law who may be able to answer any questions. My husband has looked at this car inside and out and underneath he says he believes the frame has been powder coated but can't say for sure as he did not have it done and so far no paperwork for the work can be found. I will tell as much about the car as what my husband and I could see. It is 1939 Ford 2-door Deluxe, the exterior has been painted looks to be Hunter Green and clear coated. The car is being stored in a hanger in California and is a little dusty needs to be washed and polished out (maybe). The paint looks really nice with no runs or orange peel that we could see. The interior needs to be done, the original seats are there and can be used but need to be redone. The motor is a flathead V8 rebuilt and not yet been fired yet so I am saying there is 0 miles on this motor. It has the original radiator with the crank hole although I did not see the crank it may be in one of the boxes. I did see the original guages and they are in really good shape. There are new garnish rails, complete dash refinished in the original mahogany, the original gauges and the speedometer has 94000 miles on it. Alot of the new parts there is also the old original parts also. Looks to have everything needed to complete this classic car.
