I have a 1975 Mercedes 240 D for sale. This is the 4cyl diesel model. Very clean body and very clean interior. Body is almost flawless for being in the ORIGINAL paint! Interior is pretty nice for 35+years. Not sure if its original because it is pretty nice. No cancer or accidents. Car does have a salvage title. I'm assuming it was a theft recovery because there is no accidents to the body and I'm pretty confident it is the original paint. I have heard this car start up but it does not idle and has a severe oil leak. Nice kenwood stereo, dash is NOT cut up. Clutch feels great and shifts good according to the previous owner. Previous owner is a woman and she kept up on this car. Has newer suspension in the front. Just a little old lady car. Please note that the car does not run and will not drive onto a trailer. If you are going to ship the car across the country, you will need to tell the shipper that it will need winched on the truck. I can assist with any and all shipping but it will be the buyers responsibility to pay all fee's for transportation. Once again, the car has a salvage title. Salvage is listed 3 times in this ad, please check with your state laws before bidding on a salvaged car. The title is signed off and in the previous owners name. This car was never registered in my name. In California, DMV doesn't care if we skip title. Please check with your state laws. Please understand that you WILL get a salvaged title signed off and ready to go. I know some people would like to know this before the auction ends....so here it is. 200$ NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT to be made within 48 hours of the auction ending. This is truely non refundable. It's only 200$, this is to secure the fact that you truly are a legit bidder and you want the car. Ebay is not a game and I do not take it as such. Car is being sold to be sold, not to re-list again. Remainder money owed to be paid by bank wire transfer or cashier check or cash in person within 7 days of auction ending. I am an amateur car enthusiasts and in no way shape or form a mechanic. Bidding on this car before seeing the car in person is in no way a good reason to back out of the car from cold feet. If you need a nut and bolt description, I will walk around the car while you are the phone with me and I will be very critical. Failing to call me and having concerns later when you receive the car will get you nowhere. The car is SOLID, ORIGINAL PAINT, NICE INTERIOR OVERALL and DOES NOT RUN.
