You are bidding on a great running E300 diesel,traded on a new car. We have a lot of experience in over 20 years of dealing with MB diesel models,we aquired this unit wholesale and after a close inspection and service,we offer the car on ebay. Vehicle comes with all the books and a stack of service records.Looking into the most recent records,this Mercedes had installled new front coil springs and tire rod ends,last fall,also a new serpentine belt,including with upper and lower mounts and shock,also ,about a year ago had the whole transmission removed and resealed ,those are just items that are worth talking about,aside from regular maintenance,oil changes,brakes and so on... We had the car inspected and aside from some relays and a new thermostat,could not find any mechanical issue,it is a very healthy diesel,runs great,starts right up in this cold weather,and runs very smooth,pretty much all options are functional. No leaks what so ever,dry underneath,no fuel leaks either,no scent of diesel,fuel lines are in good shape. Car runs down the road quiet with lots of torque and great fuel economy.These normal aspirated,non turbo engines,are very economical,hwy driven get up to 35 mpg,depending on speed and fuel quality. Previous owner had the windows lightly tinted,so,the interior was well preserved from sun,it looks beautiful,leather is clean ,all original down to the floormats.Books included and service records,tools,spare never used,first aid kit and factory CD changer in the trunk.This is a special edition package equiped with factory phone,CD changer,leather(not MB tex) seats,dual power & memory seats. Exterior color was part of the special edition order,it is called blue/black metallic,looks nice .Interior is black leather. Exterior is all original paint,it shows the age,will need a professional buff to bring that paint to shine evenly,it has some rust starting on drivers side door,above the molding and around the power antenna.The other issues noticed:front bumper cover has a chunk missing on the bottom from a encounter with a ice bridge and the power antenna mast is new,however,needs to raised by hand. Vehicle is fully operational and runs 100%,I use it almost daily on the hwy.Maintenance it does not need any immediate attention,hop in and drive it home. NO RESERVE AUCTION. Vehicle is been sold by a IL licensed dealer,local buyers pay tax and registration fees,out of state buyers,pay tax in their home state.NO dealer fees,what you bid is what you pay.Car has a IL original title,clean,in our posession.Payment in full no later then 7 days after auction ends,deposit of $500,due after auction,by paypal.Car is stored inside,can be stored inside for a while if the new owner choose to have it shipped.Runs great,drive it home.
