FOR SALE: 1998 BMW R 1200 C Cruiser or Touring Motorcycle This bike is in good condition. It has been ridden and maintained. Wear/damage is in line with age and mileage. There are some scuffs and cracks and looseness. Turn signal stalks could use to be replaced. The bike sometimes doesn't want to idle when coming to a stop. Bike has tool kit and owners manual. The previous owner asked me if I wanted to buy it in order to finance his daughters sports career. I bought it to help him out and make a little money, but am not looking to get rich off this. After purchase I rode it for acouple of weeks to see if there were any glaring issues. It runs very nice down the road and just makes perfect sense cruising along at 65mph. The ABS lights were flashing for the first few miles, but I put a new battery in and they stay off now. Book value for this motorcycle is around $4500 in slightly better condition than it is. At the current price it is a very economical way to get into a quality built motorcycle. The bike also came with saddlebags, passenger seat, rider and passenger backrests, GPS mount, and engine guards. They are available, and will be included with the bike if the price reaches $3500. Otherwise I will sell them separately to try and get my money.On Feb-09-11 at 12:20:31 PST, seller added the following information: I added photos of the parts that will go after the bike exceeds $3500. Taking the saddlebags out of the box to photograph I found one bag has been repaired with epoxy and screws. One of the screws protrudes through the leather. The rear seat and bags are faded more than the rider seat, so either the owner used a seat cover or the rider seat is newer (it looks factory). There are scuffs on the passenger backrest where a bag sat on the rack. These parts will be included when the price hits $3500
