I have loved these cars since 1966 when the neighbor's on each side of my home bought one new... One was silver and one was gold... I oogled them every week when I mowed their lawns, so different than anything I had ever seen. I think they are one of the most beautiful cars of the 1960's and way ahead of their time. This is only the second one I have had in the last four years that met my standards. This wonderful example is a base level car in the rare Dubonnet color with matching original interior. It spent most of its life in dry climate Colorado, explaining the extremely nice original condition. It has just received an excellent base coat / clear coat repaint in original color and is a stunning example of the first year Toronado. Very nice original chrome and wheels. The dash and door panels are in excellent original condition showing no wear. The drum speedometer works as it should as do all gauges and headlights. It is equipped with its famous original 425 cubic inch / 385 HP engine with 4BBL carb, this car drives like just as it did as it left Detroit... The Toronado was the top of the line Oldsmobile in 1966 and was the one of the first personal luxury cars produced... Always garage kept, pampered and serviced, this car could not be in nicer original condition. This car has been refreshed, detailed and ready to drive or show.
