Delivered new to Sally Johnston of Camden, NY by Walters Chevrolet Sales, this rare XS model has had but two owners in 34 years. The car stayed with Sally until sometime in 2008 when owner #2 purchased the car and shipped it to California. He relocated to China as a teacher, allowing us to acquire it. We purchased the car and started the refresh process. The XS model was equipped with the wrap around back glass, reminiscent of the GM Vista cars of late fifties and early sixties. ONLY 2,713 XS TORONADOS WERE PRODUCED IN 1977 This stunning, rare luxury model was also equipped with the optional ASC sunroof. Having had but two owners and received the care needed to preserve it's original condition. Very nice mostly original paint in elegant white, it is complimented by its original white leather interior and its original landau vinyl top in matching white.The wood grain dash and door panels are in excellent original condition showing no wear. It is equipped with its famous original 403 cubic inch engine with 4BBL carb, this car drives like just as it did as it left Detroit... Factory power sunroof and cold air conditioning The Toronado was the top of the line Oldsmobile in 1978 and was the sister car to the Cadillac Eldorado...
