this is a all original 1979 amc AMX, no rust,no bondo, 51,000 original miles, it has one dent in the drivers door, its been sitting about 12 years. the fuel pump needs replaced. we ran separate fuel line to an electric pump and the motor runs perfect,no smoke,no funny noises. it has a new carb. this is the real deal AMX, 304 v8, auto trans,twist lock posi rear, the drivetrain is completely stock,sport suspension,indash tach, leather wraped wheel,dual exaust,with new cat, interior is nice but need drivers seat recoverd,and carpet,it has the original spare tire&jack, everything is thier. my father n law is the 2nd owner. and I am listing it for him. it is 82.00 for transfer®istration. it will be sold with a bill of sale & registation. sold as is. please email me with any questions comments or concerns. thanks and good luck! On Feb-01-11 at 17:46:28 PST, seller added the following information: the car still has the electric fuel pump intact, but I ran a fuel line to a seperate tank, since the old tank and lines need to be flushed, I just put air in all the tires and topped of all the fluids, no leaks so far,I plan on taking it for a trip around the block tomorrow,and if I can figure out how to upload a video of the car running I will.. thanksOn Feb-02-11 at 17:47:57 PST, seller added the following information: I drove the car today, the powersteering pump makes a winning noise, and the trans has a simular noise when in park or neutral, the noise goes away when you put it in gear, motor runs smooth,doesnt overheat,,trans shifts in all gears, and the brakes also work well. the tires have weather cracks, and the windshied has a crack in it.
