Vehicle Detail
1969 Honda QA50 This bike is in amazing unrestored original condition. This bike is the cleanest bike I've seen this age that hasn't been restored or isn't sitting in a museum. The bike runs like brand new and starts up first time everytime. The bike is 100% original and shows very very little signs of use. If I were to guess I would say this bike only has a few hours on it at most. The bike has the original tires on it and they still have the little knobs on them thats how much this bike wasn't ridden. The bike has been covered in a climate controlled garage and isn't some barn find. These bikes are pretty much impossible to find in this condition and would make a great addition to any collection. BIKE IS LOCATED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICTURES CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING TO INSURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR BIDDING ON. Shipping is the owners responsibility!!! No Returns & item sold as is!!! ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING ON ITEMS!!! On Feb-03-11 at 10:46:36 PST, seller added the following information: I was recently contacted by someone who says this bike may have been restored as he thinks he might have been a previous owner. I had this bike checked out by a mechanic who told me the bike did not look like it had been restored as all the parts were original and nothing on the bike had been replaced and it showed signs of wear which wouldn't normally be there on a restored bike. The previous owner did say all the parts are original and only very few items were restored on the bike. He said the cases were painted with pj1 engine case paint and the seat was recovered. Also a few clamps have been painted and not plated. Please look at the pictures very carefully and bid based on your own opinion of the bike. This bike is an extremely nice machine and is an amazing bike for any Honda collector. Sorry for any confusion and as I've stated this bike looked to be in unrestored condition to me as it did to my mechanic but when I've been contacted by someone I must state it in the auction to assure every bidder knows exactly what they're getting because I am by no means out to trick anyone into buying something they don't want. Thanks. On Feb-03-11 at 11:02:48 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE:The very last picture is a picture of the bike from the 1980's when the previous owner had it if it's the same bike. The bike looks exactly the same as the one in the picture he sent me if it is the same bike it is in just as good of condition as it was over 30 years ago. If this bike is the same bike its amazing this bike hasn't changed condition over the past 30 years and still looks great. If I get anymore information on the motorcycle I will be sure to keep everyone updated.
