Vehicle Detail
Rare 4 Speed Bonneville Convertible. JadeStone Green interior and exterior. Rusty but complete. Rust through in front floors, doors, fenders. Needs complete restoration. Complete intact driveline, 4 b. carb, 4 speed, shifter, clutch and brake pedals, auto trans display delete, steering column with correct factory 4 speed sleeve, dual exhausts, bench seat. Everything is there ! I don't know the rear end ratio or whether or not it's positraction. I bought the car in 2001. I never had it running but the motor turns over freely and easily. I don't have a California title. Crosby sold the car to Anderson and signed off as seller and gave Anderson the Title to the car. Anderson never registered the car. When Anderson sold me the car he gave me the signed off Title. I can provide the buyer the same signed off Certificate of Title and a bill of sale. Rare car, Bonneville 4 speed Convertible. Beautiful color's. Don't let this one get away. Don't bid if you have less than 10 positive ebay purchases. Don't bid if you don't want to buy. Seller reserves the right to sell locally. On Feb-02-11 at 14:20:35 PST, seller added the following information: Pontiac Historical Report ordered Feb 2 at 2:00pm pst. As soon as I recieve it I will broadcast all information. All trim moulding is there. All Bonneville letters on both sides of car are there. Data plate: Style 61-2867 Body PO 6186 Trim 254 Paint J-5 Acc B - KX - I - DX Engine stamped BBOn Feb-02-11 at 16:21:33 PST, seller added the following information: I got the keys and opened the trunk, after cleaning out the junk I found the trunk floor has surface rust everywhere and at least two 6 inch to 8 inch rust through holes. I'm not a body man or restorer but its clear all the floor boards and trunk floor need replacing. Frame probably needs replacing too. Like I said, it needs complete restoration. On Feb-03-11 at 14:16:59 PST, seller added the following information: I just recieved the Pontiac Historical Society report dated 2-3-11. Here is the important stuff: Transmission: 4 SPEED SYN - 26 & 28 with C - F - M - RC - RM Engine: 318 H.P., 389 DISP., DESCRIPTION: Spec. Equip., TRANS: M, CARB: 3 - 2 Bbl, CODE: C4, QTY BUILT: 1335. So this car is MUCH MORE RARE THAN I THOUGHT. It came with a manual 4 speed trans AND tri-power...and ONLY 1,335 were ever built this way. But you will notice the car now has a 4 v carb and the engine "number" is BB...not C4. So someone either blew up the tri-power engine, or removed it and put the BB engine in its place.
