This is a no reserve auction! Here for your consideration is an exceptionally well preserved 1985 Toyota Celica GT Liftback. I’m the second owner of this Celica and I have to say, this is one of the nicest unmolested 25 year old cars I've ever owned. The original owner purchased this car at age 62, and the care that was taken of this gem is apparent everywhere you look on the car. It is absolutely rust free, and the odometer shows only 120k low miles on the ticker. This car runs and drives as it would have after only a year or two on the road. Some of the features include: * 2.4 Liter EFI 4 cylinder engine * Factory Air Conditioning (R-12 refrigerant - works great with no strange noises from the blower motor or compressor) * Automatic overdrive transmission * Manual windows and door locks * Factory Fujistu AM/FM 4 speaker stereo * Power mirrors * Cruise control * Rear wiper/washer * Tilt steering wheel * Full factory analog gages (tach, water temp, oil press, volts) * Toyota styled steel wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps * 4 - like new matching Goodyear Integrity Tires (size 185/70R-14) * Owners manual The red paint shines like new, and although it has some very superficial blemishes here and there, the overall exterior condition would easily rate an 8 or 9 on a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being show room perfect). At some point in it’s life, it appears that the car received a high quality respray, but they did such a fantastic job, the only evidence is slight overspray within the inner fender wells. The interior condition is even more impressive, as the original seat inserts have been replaced with a tasteful gray velour cloth. The dash, door panels, carpet and all of the interior plastic trim is in mint condition. The only interior issue is a bleach stain on the hatch compartment carpet area (see photo). Other than that, she looks spectacular. I’ve owned several nice Toyota Supra’s of this era, and this Celica by far has the nicest interior of the lot. This car will not disappoint even the pickiest buyer, and even though it’s 25 years old, I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It would be great as a first or second car, and ideal as a students first car. She’s super reliable and needs nothing cosmetic or mechanically speaking.
