Vehicle Detail
1968 camaro with 350 GM crate motor, 350 trans, and 10 bolt rear end. Power steering with new hoses. Non power brakes with new front and rear shoes and wheel cylinders. New master cylinder and lines going to the rear end. The engine compartment is clean and has new belts, hoses, heater core, radiator, GM fan shroud, and Edelbrock carb. Also, new transmission cooling lines and fuel line including sending unit in tank. The original color was Rallye Green. Now it is painted black with white stripes in Dupont basecoat/clearcoat. The stripes are burried in 3 coats of clear and then wet sanded and buffed smooth. The cowl hood, front cowl, and deck lid, are new reproduction and fit very nicely. The quarters have also been replaced and are nice. The doors, fenders, rear cowl panel, and lower valence are GM and in excellant condition. There is no rust or bubbles on the body. The grill, upper and lower grill mouldings, headlight bezels, windshield trim, and mirrors are all new. The center section of the trunk pan is new and looks beautiful. The rockers, frame rails, and shock towers are rock solid. The lower floor pans where your feet go were fixed with sheet metal. I also replaced the door hinge bushings so they open and shut nice. All of the lights work except the reverse lights. The motor has very little run time. It fires right up, idels and runs excellant. It has dual exhaust with turbo mufflers that stop in front of the rear end. The casting numbers on the block are 10066036. Which breaks down to a 4 bolt 350 motor, 8.5:1 compression, 250 hp, 350 lbs torque. It's topped off with a holley aluminum intake and edelbrock carb. The oil pressure and water temperature are right where they should be. The interior just needs the headliner replaced to be complete. It has new carpet, seat covers, front door panels, armrests, and pads. There is a nice B&M shifter that takes the place of the original column shifter. The dash and interior lights work like they should and the windows roll up and down properly.
